First map in QGIS

Although I have done several maps using various GIS softwares, this one is the first done in QGIS from the beginning to the end.
I encountered some difficulties during the elaboration due to not knowing where every option is or not having all necessary extension installed, but with the large support from it's fans QGIS did it's work.
Of course I'm not very impressed with the result but for a first work it's ok.
The map represents the territory of Vlasinesti common, where my grandparents are from, and i've done it for a project of mine in which I'll try to mention some of regionalisms and toponyms from that area.

Maybe the next ones will be more professional.

Hy there, sorry for not beeing able to post more stuff here. On short, the latest news: - I have done a great part of digitization of road netwok for my final paper for graduating Faculty of Geography (it's about turist traks)

- I quit my job which kept me underpaid for ages now
- the Romania national football team won and lost several matches :);
- my favourite football team - Steaua Bucharest leads the title race in the league and is ok in UEFA Cup also;
 And that's about it for now, it's Monday and even the cats aren't fighting!
